Join naturalist Jake van Schilfgaarde on this Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy winter walk at Balls Bluff Regional Park to discover and discuss how animals and plants adapt to the coldest months of the year. This will be a relatively easy, but probably wet, walk during which we will examine the trees, plants, animal sign, and insects we find along the trails. We will enjoy a beautiful time out of doors in this natural setting; participants should have sturdy, water-resistant footwear and dress for the weather. Family-friendly; limit 12 (a few spots left).
