Come join us for an afternoon of deepening within through the body and breath under this rare cosmic alignment of planetary systems.
About this Event

On the evening of January 25th, a rare planetary alignment will grace the night sky as several of the solar systems will appear to align in a row. It is often said these cosmic events can be amplifiers of planetary energies and a fortuitous time for intention setting. Though winter encourages us to cocoon, rest, and turn inward, it's also a time of replenishment, and inner tending to make space for what needs to be released, and received. Nature reveals this to us time and time again. Taking care of your soil in the winter can support your garden to thrive come spring.

Join us for Winter Tending: Breathwork Journey as we gather in community, be with what's present, and breathe together to make space for what we want to dream into for the spring. The practice of breathwork is ancient, using conscious breath patterns to rinse the body of emotional debris to restore balance to the nervous system. The experience moves stagnant energy and facilitates the release of a range of emotions that may include sadness, anger, or confusion, ultimately creating more room for insights and clarity and feeling more at home in your body. This is an invitation to pause, relish in this liminal space, and wrap ourselves with warm intentions. Though this breathwork is active, it has a yin feel, and is open to beginners, and those familiar with breathwork alike.

We will begin our time together with herbal tea infusions to settle in, followed by a grounding meditation, introduction to the breath, weaving in communal conversation around the theme, before laying down to breathe. We will close our practice with optional soft reflections or shares for integration.

Warm welcome.*

About your Facilitator:

Jen Pi is a humanbeing, space holder, facilitator, somatic practitioner and guide. Through her own healing and grief journey with several miscarriages and the caretaking and eventual passing of her father, she was inspired to delve into learning and studies with master teachers and her own being to reconnect with the wisdom of her body. Her passion centers around guiding people back home to the innate intelligence of their bodies through the weaving of meditation, the breath, somatic exploration, and self inquiry. She is inspired to share the medicine of breathwork, and journeying alongside others to create internal space to allow all parts of themselves to co-exist, despite the contradictions, and softly landing in personal connection and evolutions to ones true nature.
