Patrons are invited to talk by the Admiral of the Blue Apron tavernkeeper (Michael Carver) on the Role of Taverns in British North America. He will be discussing the role of the tavern in promoting trade, in civic life, common libations and entertainments of the 18th Century and why each was popular. Light refreshments will be served.
