Jockey's Ridge State Park and OBX Astronomy Club will be hosting an evening under the stars. Telescopes will be set up for public viewing at the visitor center parking area. Table activities will be available for kids in the Community Room. Buckle in and let an educational video take you on a trip through space. We will also serve Hot Cocoa! Join in the fun and bring your own equipment. Beginners are encouraged to participate to learn more about the night sky and how to choose the right telescope.
This event is free, no registration required and open to all. Look for updates on the event due to weather.
