Join Ozaukee Master Gardeners on Wednesday, April 8 from 3:00-4:30 pm or 6:00-7:30 pm for a fun workshop to learn how to winter sow. Winter sowing is the process of sowing seeds outside in the winter. Instead of starting seeds indoors or waiting until after the last frost to sow them outside, winter sowing involves using recycled plastic containers as miniature greenhouses to shelter seeds planted outdoors. Attendees will have the opportunity to winter sow seeds to take home.
Registration required and limited to 25 people. Visit ozaukeemastergardeners.org for registration link. This event is free and open to everyone. Workshop held at the Kacmarcik Center for Human Performance, 885 Badger Circle in Grafton.
