The weather outside may not be good for gardening, but you can still get ready for Spring! Join us for a presentation by Trina Brown of The Allegheny Understory, as well as an interactive workshop demonstration on winter sowing - a near effortless way to grow native plants from seed, without any special equipment!Registered attendees will take home a winter-sown container of native seeds that can be set outside for the winter, will sprout in early spring, & are ready to plant in your garden in June.
The hardest part of winter sowing is doing nothing while nature and the plants do all of the work!
✍️Pre-registration is required. Space is Limited. Use the Tickets link to register.
🌱Seeds, soil and containers provided.
🧤Bring your own gardening gloves (optional).
