11:00 AM - 12:00 PM | Drawing as Ritual
Drawing can be a powerful tool for self-care, self-reflection, and internal growth. This workshop will eschew away from teaching a way to draw and lean in to drawing for pleasure and letting go of the outcome. We will begin by looking at a few artists who were prolific in their creativity and the way the art led the artist, more than the artist leading the work. We'll talk about trusting your voice and leaning into what feels right. We'll spend a short period of time reflecting and potentially looking for meaning in our mark-making.
Gather the following materials:
- Art materials that make you feel most comfortable or excited
About Your Instructor:
Lettie Jane Rennekamp (she/they) is an artist/illustrator and art teacher based in Portland, Oregon. Her illustrations are bold and tender at the same time, depicting motherhood, varying versions of gender expression, community, and nature all together. She is the creator of Many Queens, a gender-inclusive tarot deck. See more of her work at www.lettiejane.com or on Instagram @lettiejanemakes
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM | Pisces/Virgo Nodal Cycle & You
In January 2025, the nodes will shift onto the Pisces/Virgo axis, activating a shift away from the quest for perfection toward the embrace of potential. In this workshop, we will review the upcoming as well as previous cycles of this nodal journey and dive into how to open up to Piscean energies by looking at the movements of Jupiter in this time frame. We'll explore themes being activated for different signs and anchor ways to work with this collective experience.
Gather the following materials:
- Your Birth Chart
- A notebook & writing utinsel
About Your Instructor:
Taylor Ursula (she/they) merges multiple disciplines to explore passion and agency through a systemic and narrative approach that invites integration of the unseen. Taylor has a Master's in Clinical Psychology and has spoken at various conferences, including Fresh Voices of Astrology, Queer Astrology Conference, and the Astrology of Awakening. Taylor has an essay in the anthology Tarot in Other Words forthcoming from Weiser Books in February 2025. Find her on Instagram here.
1:00 PM - 2:00 PM | Legends and Divinations of Slavic Winter
In this class, we will look at the life of our ancestors during winter time. We’ll explore how they adorned their homes, the special dishes they prepared for celebrations, and the communal activities that brought families together. We’ll delve into the rituals and divinations performed during Svyatki, from festive games to fortune-telling methods used to glimpse the future.
About Your Instructor:
Vlasta Pilot (she/her) is a folk practitioner rooted in Slavic and Finno-Ugric (Erzya) traditions. Drawing from her Russian and Mordovian ancestry, she bridges ancient rituals with modern magic. As the creator of Gentle Hearts Unite zine, she shares the wisdom of her ancestors, offering a space where folklore, witchcraft, and nature converge. Vlasta shares esoteric practices and untold stories, guiding others to reconnect with the mystical. Find her on Instagram at @gentleheartsunite and TikTok at @thevlasta.
2:00 PM - 3:00 PM | Behold the Inner Oracle: Dreamwork
The dreamscape is a potent wellspring of embodied wisdom that is both personal and collective, human and non-human. In this intro workshop, we’ll explore ways of working with dream imagery to deepen creative expression and self-discovery. By inviting sacred and non-rational approaches to interpretation, we’ll expand our channeling skills and nourish our wise, mycelial inner worlds.
Gather the following materials:
- A candle or incense (or any gesture or object that helps you create a sacred container)
- A journal or blank pages with a writing utensil
- An art supply with color that brings you joy—such as crayons, colored pencils, or pastels.
About Your Instructor:

Often grappling with themes of strangeness and belonging, their work reflects a fascination with the weird, numinous, and primal forces that shape inner life. They are the author of several full-length poetry collections, chapbooks, and short stories. Stephanie served as Staff Writer and Story Editor on the television anthology horror series TWO SENTENCE HORROR STORIES (CW/Netflix). In addition to her literary work, Stephanie is illustrating an original Major Arcana tarot deck called Tarot de La Selva Infinita.
