Join us to we explore some of the wonderful outdoor swimming spots in and around Birmingham.
This swim will honour the Winter Solstice, and be our last swim together of 2024.
Feel free to wear your santa hats!
Cold water swimming has many benefits including:
Mindfulness practice.
Increased immunity.
Decrease inflammation.
Boosting self esteem.
During the cooler and darker months it can be tricky to stay connected, motivated, and we may even find that our emotional / mental health suffers.
During Summer you may want to get outside and into nature, but not be sure what to do and who with!
Welcome to Yoga Borne Outdoor Swimming Group - a space for people to meet up, experience the healing power of nature, connection and community!
Wild swimming will also offer us the opportunity to cultivate body positivity, acceptance, and appreciation.
Our Winter swims at at the lovely Droitwich Lido.
A great place for beginners, as you can walk slowly into the water. There are changing facilities, lifeguards, and a fabulous little café on site!
The swim is arranged by us, but each person is responsible for their own booking, waiver, and health and safety.
The easiest way to book Droitwich Lido is by downloading the Rivers Fitness app.
This is a such a wonderful way to spend a Saturday or Sunday morning!
