About this Event
Winter Solstice - Embroidered Sigil Workshop
Stitch a talisman for the returning light
For women and non-binary folks
On the longest night of the year, under the quiet blessing of the New Moon, we gather in a small circle to honour the turning of the seasons and plant seeds of intention for the months ahead. The New Moon is a sacred time of manifestation, magic, and new beginnings, when the veil between thought and reality is thin and the cosmos whispers to us in symbols, shadow, and starlight.
In this 3-hour ritual-workshop, you’ll craft a personal sigil—born from your intuition, desire, and the hidden wisdom of the dark season—and then embroider it into a beautiful wall talisman to carry you through the winter. Each stitch is a spell, each thread a whispered promise to yourself, grounding your intentions into form.
We’ll begin with gentle grounding, breathwork, and reflection, then move into slow, meditative stitching. You’ll learn simple, magical embroidery techniques as we weave intention, energy, and attention together—creating a piece of art that is both a talisman and a mirror of your inner light.
This is a tender, queer-affirming space for women and non-binary folks who feel the pull of the Solstice, the pull of the moon, and the call to honour the turning of the wheel.
All materials are provided. No experience needed.
