About this Event
Come gather in community on the Solstice
SING - Heather will lead you through some breathing practices, a vocal meditation warm-up, and offer some gorgeous, simple songs woven with prayers, intentions and ritual for the Solstice. Members of Yala Lati Women's Choir will be there to help with the learning and holding of the parts.
SONG BATH - Latis in surround sound - encircling you with loving hearts and transcendent harmonies.
The German Cultural Center Hall was designed and built for live music in 1959 - specifically SINGING!! It's amazing!! :)
The hall will be all aglow with lanterns and candles. We'll be sitting in concentric circles with an altar in the center.
Please bring an item for the altar of seasonal beauty or something that represents an area of your life that needs tending.
Feel free to also bring items that help you feel cozy - a mug of hot tea (with secure lid), a small, cozy lap blanket, a pillow, etc. You will be seated in chairs - some of them are completely metal, and some have fabric cushioning.
Parking is limited - if possible, please carpool, walk, or bike.
Let's dive deeply together in communtiy, song, and prayer.
