All ages and abilities can truly come and be a part of this gathering as we say goodbye to darkest time of year and welcome in the new light.
This is the Cosmic New Year, if you will: a time of rebirth, renewal, and the return of light after the longest night.
It’s a period of introspection, honouring the natural cycles of the Earth, and connecting with inner light and strength.
A loving breathwork practice will be led along with a meditation, then a relaxation, some gentle stretches and finally a sonic sound bath with Julia (Gongs and an array of instruments).
Absolutely glorious.
You will be laid down or sat down the entire time. This is one of the most minimal effort situations you have ever been in. Restore, replenish, revive.
There will be a tea station for you to come and fill your cup, masala chai, dhal and a community evening of connection, warmth, love and peace.
Please bring: your mug, bowl, spoon, water bottle, yoga mat, duvet, blanket, pillow, scarf, slippers / thick socks, hat, anything that makes your comfy and cosy.
Sadly there is no parking at the church and clamping is in operation, so we advise going to Tesco car park on Cowley road or using the side streets which are free on a Sunday. You will need to arrive 30 mins early to find your spot.
Doors open at 4pm
