Shades of Rhythm are an English electronic music group, formed in Peterborough in 1988, consisting of Rayan Gee, Nick Slater, and LANX (Kevin Lancaster). They gained recognition in the late 1980s/early 1990s rave scene with their tracks from the self-pressed album "Frequency," leading to a deal with the ZTT record label and a Top 20 hit in the UK charts. Known for their combination of house, techno, and rave music, they are celebrated for their influential contribution to the growth of electronic music.
