Do you want to get a jump on spring? Are you interested in growing plants inexpensively? It’s rewarding and fun and gives you something to look forward to. The Saddle Brook Green Team and Saddle Brook Free Public Library are sponsoring a talk and workshop about Winter Seed Sowing led by Lynne Proskow, Master Gardener of Bergen County. Join us at the library on Saturday, February 7th at 10:30am in the conference room to prepare a "mini greenhouse" and plant native seeds and hardy perennials.
Participants will go home with a container of winter-sown seeds that can be kept outside until spring. Bring a recycled container if you have one. Soil, seeds, and some containers will be provided.
