Join your fellow native plant friends for our most popular event of the year!This event will be held in Shelter #3 in Reedy Creek Park (2990 Rocky River Rd, Charlotte, NC 28215). When you enter the park, continue until the road ends at a fork and turn left. Follow that to the end to find Shelter #3.
Bring your seeds for setup at 1:30pm. The program starts at 2:00. Sara Byrd of Byrd House Natives will discuss collection, organization, and storage of seeds. She will demonstrate seed sowing techniques, review ways to find good information online, and help you choose a suitable container for your seeds and new seedlings.
Our afternoon of seeds and fellowship will continue with a light potluck, so we encourage folks to bring some snacks and finger foods to share as well as a cup, plate, and utensils for yourself so that we can reduce our waste! We will also have some disposable ones available for those that need them.
