The Lansing Model Railroad Club is hosting its annual winter open house. See trains running on the club's beautiful HO scale layout and on the new multi-level expansion. Spectators can get a bird's-eye view of most of the layout from an overhead walkway. Trains run using North Coast Engineering digital command control (DCC) system. See the club's efforts on restoring the Michigan Avenue (MA) Tower, which was moved in September 2016. The layout is housed in the former Grand Trunk Western Millett Depot. Admission and parking are free on a paved lot. There is a handicap ramp accessible to the first floor.
