About this Event
✨Join Docomomo US/Wisconsin for our end-of-year Winter Mixer & Holiday Party—a festive evening of music, drinks, conversation, and the celebration of our annual Doco Photo Awards. Help us toast an incredible year of preservation, storytelling, programming, and advocacy with friends, colleagues, and Milwaukee’s modernism community.
This year’s celebration takes place at The Wiggle Room in Bay View—Milwaukee’s newest and coolest record bar—a warm, atmospheric lounge with plenty of space to mingle. Feel free to spread out across the lounge, grab a drink from the bar, and enjoy light snacks provided by Docomomo WI. We also encourage you to make a full night of it with friends and family in Bay View.
This event is free and open to the public—bring your friends and family and help us close out the year in style!
Music & Atmosphere
- 6:00–7:00 PM: Jazz selections curated specially for Docomomo WI
- 7:00 PM: Jim McCann, owner of The Wiggle Room, takes over the main DJ booth with a set crafted just for the event
- After 9:00 PM: The music shifts to a more upbeat vibe as the night continues
Guests are welcome to stay as long as they’d like as the evening transitions into Jim’s regular DJ night.
