All elementary and middle school students are invited to unleash their creativity and explore the world of pottery at Wisconsin Lutheran High School! Join The Traveling Artist Studio for a new, exciting pottery class!
Class Details:
~Start Date: January 18th, 2025
~When: Saturday mornings, 2-hour sessions
3rd - 5th Graders: 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM
6th - 8th Graders: 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM
~Price: $150
~Where: Wisconsin Lutheran High School (Wisco)
~Instructor: Rachel Rosenberg, experienced art teacher and founder of The Traveling Artist Studio
What You'll Learn:
1. Building Methods: Discover various techniques and building methods for creating beautiful pottery pieces from scratch including, but not limited to, pinch, slab, and coil construction.
2. Surface Design: Learn how to decorate your creations with unique and artistic designs using both paint and glaze.
*If you took this class in the fall, students will explore similar building methods, but they will learn different ways to apply them and create different projects!
Important Information:
Each Class Size: Capped at 25 students, so space is limited!
