Welcome to Winter is Coming - Part IX, a unique costumed dance party taking place in a very special venue on one of the longest nights of the year! We are extremely excited to be putting on this fundraiser party again after eight past successes. This year may end up being our last time throwing Winter is Coming, so we are going to be making a few changes to the programming this year to go out with a bang! This event is a fundraiser officially put on by UPR Holdings, the legal entity that runs, funds, and operates many of your favourite burner camps and events including but not limited to The Church of Cheesus Crust, The Whiptail Lizards, and Tropic Plunder. Additional funding help also goes towards Sky Bar, Rumpus Room, The Meatheads, CERN in the Forest, and more!
We have once again managed to privately book the Climbing Centre in North Vancouver for the entire night and will be again transforming it into a wild, fire-lit cave to protect us from the cold of winter. It is an unbelievable, cavernous venue that has never been used for a dance party before (except for the first eight installments of Winter is Coming) and we are excited to have you join us for an awesome night of Tribal House, Afro House, Tech and Deep House, and other earthly beats as well as select interactive art. And of course, there will be all the comfortable mats you could possibly want for big cuddle puddle sessions and friendly lounging - including newly upgraded furs and cushions for more chill space and cuddle areas.
Please note: This year we will not have a liquor license or bar. We will provide coolers with ice and you are welcome to bring your own unopened non-alcoholic beverages of choice. Alcohol is not permitted in the venue whatsoever! For water, please bring your own empty cup or bottle to use at the water refill stations.
Please note this event is still 19+ and IDs and bags will be checked at the door by security!

The first 50 tickets are selling for $40 each! The next 50 jump up to $45. General Admission tickets sold after that will be $50. So buy early and secure your savings!
Costumes are mandatory for entrance so be creative! Fur, leather, robes, or anything that represents Winter is Coming to you! There will be lockers and cubbies at the door.
Doors open for entry at 9pm and close for entry at 10:30pm. Please ensure that you arrive during those hours to gain access. No ins and outs, but there will be an outdoor smoking area provided. We are going to try to include waivers into the ticket purchasing process this year.
The venue has four rules that will be enforced so please be respectful of them!
- There will be a 100% no climbing policy. As fun as it may look, that is not why we are there and anyone caught climbing runs the risk of being asked to leave.
- There will be a 100% no shoes policy. The mats are not designed for shoes to be trampling on them, especially heels. Don't worry, the floor will be soft, warm and awesome for your toes! The Venue provides cubbies and lockers by the door.
- There will be a no-drinks downstairs policy. Sorry for the inconvenience, but the venue cannot afford spills on their mats down in the climbing area. There will be a mezzanine overlooking the dance floor where drinks can be had while socializing.
- There will be a zero alcohol on premises policy.
