Winter Intensive: Inversions + Handstands

Join us at Cocoon Tribeca, 316 Greenwich Street for an Inversions + Handstands intensive workshop with Coach Roberto Regueiro Santiago. In this 2-hour workshop, we will explore complementary ways to work on inversions while finding new ways to connect to balance and control. By combining play with more structured and technical drills, we can support a feeling of safety and confidence while working upside down. We will practice bailing and falling as core skills, as well as the mobility and strength needed to support handstands. Seasoned practitioners will come away with a newly refined approach. Newcomers with less comfort going upside down will find new strategies for overcoming barriers.
