Start: Meet us at Exchange Place Plaza in front of Gregory's Coffee.
End point: Do as much or as little of this walk as you choose. Return via Path or Ferry to the start.
Distance: 15 - 28 miles, your choice.
Terrain: city streets, mostly flat with some elevation such as the GW bridge approach.
Transit: Subway, Path or car. Free street parking in some areas of Jersey City. Several parking garages as well.
Families/children welcome: However, please leave your 4-legged pets at home.
Bathrooms: There are several rest stops along the way. Coffee shops, Whole Foods, outdoor pubic restrooms as well.
Lunch/Snacks: Carry your own or purchase along the way. Usually we have lunch at Whole Foods in Edgewater, but here are several other options as well.
Challenge:Self-guided walk that is easy to hard depending on how many miles you choose to do. From Exchange Place to Port Imperial there is the light rail that can take you back to the start.

Once connected, the Circuit Trails will be one of the nation's premier urban trail networks and it will provide multiple benefits to neighborhoods, communities and the region as a whole.
The 9/11 National Memorial Trail is a network of over 1,300 miles of trails connecting New York City, the Pentagon and Shanksville, Pennsylvania, in tribute to the heroes who perished on September 11, 2001, and the heroes who, in response, answered the call for their country.
The FreeWalkers are again offering the Cross-Jersey Walking Challenge, with a goal of walking the 100 miles of the East Coast Greenway across the entire state at any time during the year. This walk is part of the ECG trail from Trenton to New York City.
