🕗 11:00am @ Bolton Interchange, 12:30 @ Smithills Hall*Will Yo’ Come O’ Sunday Morning, for a walk o’er Winter Hill?*
Join Right to Roam NW and Manchester Radical Tradition on the 14th of September to once again ramble (and sing!) our way up Winter Hill - the site of Britain's biggest historic trespass 🥾 We chose the second Sunday as back in 1896 it was the largest mass ramble of the three, its what we did last year, and it was the closest Sunday we all could do! We’ll be meeting at Bolton Interchange around 11:00, walking to the base of the hill then ascending to the monument and back down (either the same way in a circular route weather permitting). Tales of the event will be told along the way and much merriment will be had!
