Welcome to our Winter Herbal Medicine Courses - Foraging Walks in Bristol
Join Maria from Healing Weeds for a relaxed and playful session, exploring the local wild plants of our urban environment. Get deep into the wild plants growing all around us, gain knowledge and skills to last a lifetime, make wild herbal tea together and meet others learning about nature too!
No matter your experience, these sessions are the best way to gain a baseline of knowledge you can continue to use in your every day life. All ages and ablilities are welcome to come and learn about our local herbal medicines.
Our Winter Workshops take place in 3 locations in Bristol:
Sat 21st Feb : 10am - 12.30pm ✦ Conham River Park,
Sun 22nd Feb : 10am - 12.30pm ✦ Eastwood Farm,
Sun 22nd Mar : 10am - 12.30pm ✦ Purdown Open Space,
Our agenda
10.00am - 10.15am - Arrive + introductions from Maria
10.15am - 12.00pm - Slow meader through each location with plenty of time to ask questions and make notes at each stop, we'll meet up to 20 plants and share knowledge of their folklore, practical ways to pick them and how to use them
12.00pm - 12.30pm - Herbal tea making and consolidation; all contributing to the pot with time to ask more questions and know your next steps
