Fancy a day out exploring the South Downs? This 15km circular trail starts in the village of Hassocks and gradually climbs through quiet forest paths before opening out onto the chalk ridgeline that leads to Ditchling Beacon. From the top, youโll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views, the kind that make you stop and just breathe for a moment.
The second half of the route winds back through a mix of open fields, hedgerows, and woodland trails, offering a proper variety of terrain without anything too technical. Expect a few steady climbs, wide ridge paths, and plenty of rewarding scenery along the way.
