With a focus on the lush harmonies and moving lyrics of the Romantic period, a wide range of composers and styles will prove equally enjoyable a choral performance as an audience experience. From the quintessential lyric expression of Schumann to the profundity of Rachmaninov, up through the Impressionism of such 20th century French romantics as Lili Boulanger –each a facet of the rich gem that is this movement’s contribution to music.
