Mark your calendar for Winter Flight Fest, returning to the EAA Aviation Museum on Saturday, February 7, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.Enjoy a day of family-friendly activities, interactive exhibits, and the skiplane fly-in with a complimentary chili lunch (weather permitting).
All-day museum activities:
• Wright Flyer Cockpit Climb: Experience what the very first powered flight was like!
• Paper Airplane Launcher: Launch your own paper airplane through a powered launcher.
• Rotorcrafting: Build your own helicopter with a working rotor from recycled household materials.
• Pararescue Challenge: Build a parachute and put it to the test in our wind tunnel.
• Indoor Model Airplane Flying: See what it takes to build and fly a radio-controlled model airplane!
Museum admission is required. EAA members and children ages 5 and under are FREE.
