About this Event
Winter Dance Feast is a fundraiser for Presence Studio, a non-profit collective and Bellingham’s home to dance, conscious movement, and cultural creativity since opening in 2010. Join in community and explore the flavors of three forms of conscious dance (Open Floor, 5Rythms, and The 360 Emergence) and four masterful teachers.
This year's theme is Dancing at the Intersection Co-Created Collective Space of Community and our Embodied Sovereign Selves.

Danielle Pfaff’s journey spans from biochemistry research at the Ph.D. level to seven years of devoted motherhood, enriching her insights into care and connection. Her curiosity fuels an exploration of the inner and outer worlds, which she integrates as a facilitator of The 360 Emergence embodiment practice. Danielle weaves scientific precision with soulful movement, guiding participants to attune to their body as a compass, unlocking unfiltered truth and fostering a deeper compassion within the collective human experience.

Anne Marie Hogya is a movement artist, DJ, and occupational therapist with over two decades of dance training and clinical practice. A cross-genre, elixir-mixer, she plays music that moves you into intelligent motion. Her dance floors are brave places of permission to push your edges and pray with your feet. As an embodiment leader she apprenticed and trained with Gabrielle Roth, creator of 5Rhythms dance, and has been teaching this free-form practice since 2008.

Joseph Machado embraces education as both a path to liberation and a journey toward wholeness. Since 1999, he has nurtured young minds in public schools and trained classroom teachers, honoring the complexity and depth of human growth. Driven by a passion to understand learning in its fullness, he earned an M.A. in Somatic Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies. Beyond the classroom, as an Open Floor Movement teacher, Joseph explores the intersections of our inner lives and communal experiences.
