The First Annual Winter Play Day is Scheduled for January 25th at Crosby FarmExplore, discover, learn, and embrace winter at the future River Learning Center site
This new Winter Carnival event is hosted by Great River Passage Conservancy, City of Saint Paul, USDA Forest Service, National Park Service, and Mississippi Park Connection, in partnership with local outdoor recreation partners.

Explore, discover, learn, and embrace winter during the inaugural Winter Play Day.
Dozens of family-friendly outdoor activities will be offered – equipment and all! Try your hand at cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, guided hikes, outdoor photography, s’mores with Smokey Bear, and more. Representatives from local organizations will be present to motivate attendees and ensure safe participation.
Crosby Farm in St. Paul will soon be home to the Mississippi River Learning Center and National Park Service Headquarters, a national hub of Mississippi River-focused recreation, education, and environmental stewardship. Host organizations aim to highlight the site, learn and explore seasonal activities to consider in the future, and create an inviting space for everyone.
ADMISSION: Free and open to the public. No ticket is required.
