Ditch the post-Christmas slump and dive into a community carnival where the energy is high and the beats are infectious! We’re taking over Pop Brixton for a proper reconnection through rhythm, laughter, and street vibes—no tickets, no pressure, just good energy and global beats from Afrobeat, Funk, and Global House!
We kick off in Pop’s main courtyard with a Warm-up and hand out your “Carnival Quest Cards” with fun social tasks like dancing with someone new or giving compliments!
Then, it’s time for the Street Market Social! Explore the awesome stalls, grab some delicious food , mingle, and maybe even start our “Find Your Rhythm Buddy” game. The vibes heat up fast with the Mini Parade Jam! Led by drummers and a DJ, we’ll groove through the courtyard—get ready to capture some big reels!
The heart of the afternoon is the Live Beat Jam. Our DJ and percussion mix creates an open dance circle where everyone takes a turn in the legendary “Vibe Circle” moment—a short, high-energy pose moment! Don’t forget the Beat Relay to build a rhythm chain! We’ll wind things down with a Social Chill before everyone joins in one big, epic move for the “Outsy Groove Finale”—recorded as the signature reel. Get ready to feel the beat!
