Get ready for the Winter BioBlitz happening on Saturday, December 13, from 10 am to 12 pm. on the Seven Mile Loop Trail! It's a super fun family event that encourages everyone to explore local parks and learn about the awesome plants and animals that live there. This event is a partnership between Crystal River Preserve State Park and Citrus County Parks and Recreation, and it's going to be an amazing adventure. The Seven Mile Loop is home to over 1400 species of plants and animals, and we think there are even more waiting to be discovered! Join us for this exciting chance to connect with the natural world around us! And in spite of the trail’s name, we’ll be walking a total of ONE mile during this event, taking time to notice and identify every little thing along the way.
