Studio 208 is excited to welcome back fellow Second April Studios resident artist, Maria McDonald, to teach another installment of her abstract painting workshop. This is a two hour class, open to all levels. We ask that participants be 13+ years of age or be capable of working independently. This class will be focused around a winter theme, including colors and textures you would find in nature throughout the winter season.

For this class, participants will learn how to create an abstract painting that is unique to them. You will receive the tools necessary to paint intuitively and learn how to paint more freely and expressively. Maria will explain what different shapes and colors can represent in abstract painting to demonstrate different mark-making techniques.
Cost is $60/each or bring a friend with 2 tickets for $110. Cost includes a canvas and all necessary paint, brushes, and supplies.
The final piece is perfect to use as home decor or to give as a gift!
