Winnie-the-Pooh Early Years Storytelling Session at Atherstone Library
This special storytelling session is Winnie‑the‑Pooh–themed to mark 100 years of the beloved character.
This event is great for:
- Making stories exciting and memorable through playful interaction
- Encouraging a love of books from an early age
- Supporting early communication and social skills
- Discovering what our libraries offer
Time: 11.00am - 11.30am
Date: Wednesday 24th June 2026
Age: 2-4 years old (Please note: children must be accompanied by an adult at all times)
Booking: This is a drop-in event, so booking is not required. If you do choose to book a ticket, please be aware that it does not guarantee you a space. Participation will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Don’t forget to take part in our Warwickshire Libraries' Winnie‑the‑Pooh book tour! A special edition will travel to all18 libraries, where we are inviting members of the public to add your memories by writing or drawing in the book. At the end of its journey it will become part of Warwickshire's Local Studies Collection — a permanent and treasured part of the county’s history. The book will be at Atherstone library from Monday 22nd June to Monday 20th July 2026.
