BASIC COURSE:
No prior knowledge of ultrasound is required to participate in this course.
The WINFOCUS USLS course (Ultrasound in Life Support) is aimed at physicians and healthcare providers who treat patients with acute, urgent and critical conditions. It is a theoretical-practical, in-person course. The curriculum will cover:
- Interpreting ultrasound images at the point of care (pre-hospital and in-hospital);
- Learning to use ultrasound to diagnose, manage and monitor pathologies in rural, isolated, and remote environments;
- Harnessing ultrasound in emergency settings and intensive care units;
- Comprehensive head-to-toe assessments with the help of ultrasound;
- Integrating ultrasound into ABCDE management.
What will this course enable you to do?
- Obtain ultrasound images from different regions of the body;
- Integrate ultrasound images into clinical protocols.
Participants will receive a certificate upon completion.
ADVANCED COURSE:
Completion of the Basic Level Ultrasound in Life Support (USLS Basic Level 1 Provider) course is required to participate.
The course is based on the use of multifocal ultrasound for comprehensive head-to-toe patient assessments. The curriculum will cover:
- Integrating ultrasound into the ABCDE evaluation during assessment and monitoring
- Using PoCUS ultrasound for critical and primary care patients
- Advanced training in ultrasound at the patient's point of care
- Advanced techniques described by WINFOCUS to improve patient care in various clinical scenarios
Participants will receive a certificate upon completion.
