About this Event
Explore the Wines of Tasmania
Tasmania is one of the most exciting cool-climate wine regions in the world today, producing elegant and expressive wines shaped by maritime influence and long growing seasons. In this guided tasting, we’ll explore six wines that showcase the distinctive character of Tasmania and the grape varieties that thrive there.
Together, we’ll taste examples of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and sparkling wines, along with other regional specialties, while learning how Tasmania’s geography, climate, and winemaking traditions contribute to its growing international reputation. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of why Tasmania has become one of the Southern Hemisphere’s most dynamic wine regions.
Whether you are new to Tasmanian wine or already curious about cool-climate styles from Australia, this tasting offers an engaging introduction to a region worth knowing.
