About this Event
Sicily has become famously fashionable for the elegant wines being produced on the slopes of Etna; the huge and very active volcano that dominates the skyline on the east of the Island. However Sicily's vinous gift to the world stretches far beyond these, to include some of the greatest sweet wines of the world as well as the work of low intervention 'terroirists' such as the brilliant Arianna Occhipinti in Sicily's south.
Come join Mark Pygott MW at Commonwealth Wine School for an evening of exploration and decadence as you taste through a wide range of wine styles from throughout Sicily, both traditional and Contemporary. Throughout this adventure, Mark will inform (and perhaps even transform?) your view on the quality and interest to be found on the Mediterranean's largest island.
