Wines of Chile Academy certification returns to Toronto to offer hospitality professionals, wine buyers, educators, sommeliers and enthusiasts the chance to become a certified Wines of Chile Ambassador !
Chile is a Viticultural Paradise and is one of the oldest wine producing countries of the new world, with vines first planted in 1548. This 3-hour course is ideal for those seeking professional accreditation about Chliean wines. Topics covered will incude the history of wine making in Chile, wine labelling laws and terms, vitivinicultural areas and star grape varieties and the development of the Wines of Chile Certified Sustainability program. Following completion of the class and an achievemnt of %80 on the exam, students will be mailed an official certificate. A full colour, glossy study guide will be included in the class fee and 8-10 wines will be tasted to illustrate key Chilean wine styles.
Wines of Chile Academy was created to offer structured courses to stimulate and discover the wine history, regions, grape varieties and styles of Chilean wines.
