About Emeritus Vineyards
Founded in 1999 by industry icon Brice Cutrer Jones and now led by his daughter, second-generation President Mari Jones, Emeritus Vineyards is dedicated to the pursuit of making California’s finest Pinot Noir. The estate is defined by its unique Goldridge soils and a commitment to dry-farming, a practice that produces deeply complex, place-driven wines with remarkable integrity. Guided by Winemaker Keith Hammond, the team utilizes sustainable, gentle techniques—including night harvesting and gravity-flow bottling—to preserve the purity and "soaring flavors" of their renowned Hallberg Ranch and Pinot Hill fruit. Today, as a certified sustainable family operation, Emeritus continues to set the benchmark for elegant, nuanced winemaking in the Green Valley of the Russian River Valley.
