Dear all,
Most of our wine tastings focus on countries or regions. This time, we're going to focus on one of the essential ingredients in the evolution of great wines: time.
We'll do what's called a "vertical" tasting of newer and older vintages of the same wines. The tasting will cover four of Greece's most iconic indigenous grape varieties: Mavrofílero and Assyrtiko for the whites, and Agiorgitiko and Xinomavro for the reds. There will be an earlybird wine for those who arrive on time, and a tsipouro at the end.
As usual, all the wines will be paired with plenty of good Greek food.
The wines will be presented by Petros Fotopoulos, the agronomist and oenologist who has shared his passion and knowledge about wine at several previous Greek wine tastings.
The tasting costs 65 euros. Participation is limited to the first 28 people who sign up. Don't wait too long! Our tastings have been filling up fast lately!
