Ismail ibn Conner is a professional actor, a credentialed sommelier, and member of the Alliance Française Board of Directors. His passion for wine and good company comes through in his passion for leading his participants to develop their curiosity and knowledge through a direct, honest approach to wine-tasting: devoid of expectations, “like a child” (over 21 years of age).

In this wine series, Ismail introduces his participants to the various wine-producing regions of France beginning with the first two: Bordeaux(in October) and Bourgogne (in November). Each tasting will feature 5 to seven wines and be accompanied by small bites that help clear the pallet and better understanding the wines’ potential for pairings and everyday use.

Tasting Series II: Burgundy – Almost as famous, and arguably less omnipresent than their Bordeaux competitors, Burgundy wines can be off-putting because of their higher price-point and the “mystery” that surrounds them. Burgundy wines, made primarily from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, are appreciated for their refined elegance, flavor, and complexity, as for the mystery, well Ismail help with all of that, develop your understanding of the various styles and terroirs so you can enjoy the wines of this great region without fear or intimidation!

Park on Level 2 of the International Parking Garage, across the street from Tin Lizzy's restaurant.

For GPS, use restaurant's address 26 Andrew Young International Blvd NE, Atlanta, GA 30303. The parking entrance (LEFT) is directly across the street from Tin Lizzy's (RIGHT).

To access the Plaza Level, use the alleyway next to the restaurant. Continue straight towards tower 233, passing the fountain on your left. Once in front of the 233 tower lobby, the auditorium's entrance is on your right.
