About this Event
Whether you’re new to alcohol-free wines, mildly sceptical or already a convert, this is a relaxed, delicious deep dive into how great alcohol-free wines and wine alternatives really can be - especially when paired properly.
On the night, you’ll be guided through a carefully curated tasting of exceptional alcohol-free wines and wine alternatives, each matched with a generous spread of vegan cheeses, savoury bites and indulgent desserts. And yes, vegan cheese absolutely does belong with wine - we’ll happily prove it.
The session starts at 19:00, but feel free to arrive a little earlier to have a drink in the bar or browse our shelves. We’ll happily look after coats and bags.
Each Vegan Wine Pairing Night features a freshly curated menu, so there’s always something new to discover if you come back again.
What to expect
- A relaxed 2hr tutored tasting with Club Soda’s Josh Kelly
- A welcome glass of delicious alcohol-free fizz
- An expert introduction to alcohol-free wine production and alternatives
- A guided tasting of six sophisticated alcohol-free wines and wine alternatives
- A generous selection of vegan cheeses, savoury pairings and desserts (you won't need to have dinner before you come!)
- Plenty of time to mingle, chat and enjoy the food and drinks
About your host: Josh Kelly
Josh is a regular IWSC judge, Senior WAFA Judge, Concours Mondial de Bruxelles judge and specialist lead judge in No and Low Wine for WSET. He’s also been a guest panellist at Imbibe, The No & Low Show and London Wine Fair.
Having worked at Club Soda since 2016, Josh describes himself as an “accidental expert” in all things no and low. He’s carefully curated the wine list for this evening to show just how exciting - and food-friendly - alcohol-free wine can be.
