About this Event

St Giles Hill has played an important role in the life of the City of Winchester over the past 900 years.

This short walking tour will enable you to discover a deep history from the execution of Earl Waltheof in 1082 through to today’s green lungs. Looking at what the future might hold, this tour reveals the stories behind the hill overlooking Winchester.

The tour will start from the Abbey Gardens, beside Winchester Guildhall, off The Broadway. SO23 9BE
