Duluth-based Willowgreen returns to the beautiful Sacred Heart Music Center to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a concert at 2 pm Sunday, March 16. The fourth annual event will also mark the release of the group’s new album Sheila’s Brush.Celtic trio Eira will open.
Willowgreen performs traditional, contemporary and original music from Ireland, Newfoundland, Scotland, Canada, U.S.A. and the rest of the Celtic world. Sheila’s Brush is the first full-lenght album released by the group in more than 20 years.
Advance E-Tickets will be available on Eventbrite.com beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 7 for $20 (plus $3.18 handling fee). Advance paper tickets will be available at Globe News in Superior (cash only) and Zenith Bookstore in West Duluth (plus $1 handling fee). Tickets will be available at the door for $25 while they last. Doors at 1 pm. Music at 2 pm.
