About this Event
Willow Weaving with Jo - Weave a Swallow
Join us for a relaxing workshop, making your own willow swallow sculpture!
You'll be guided in weaving your own swallow from sustainably grown natural willow - they look great hung on a wall, garden fence or mounted on a pole to swoop around your flower beds.
This hands-on workshop is a great introduction to traditional willow weaving techniques and is suitable for complete beginners.
The workshop will be taught in a small, friendly group with a maximum of 10 people, with all tools and materials supplied. No previous experience is required, and this workshop uses shorter thin willow for weaving, making it easier for those with less hand strength.
We'll include a short break for everyone to stretch their fingers, drinks and biccies will be included!"
