FULL-DAY WILLOW SCULPTURE WORKSHOPSunday 2 April 9.45 am – 4.00 pm
£120.00 including refreshments, lunch, all materials, use of equipment on the day, tutoring & certificate of completion.
This full-day group workshop with our guest willow weaver and basket maker, Karen Bek, is suitable for all skill levels.
Learn how to create your own hare sculpture using willow and spend the day enjoying the very mindful and relaxing process of willow weaving.
You will learn how to make a framework for your sculpture and some techniques to shape your hare and give it extra character.
The end result will be an approx. 85-cm-high willow hare sculpture.
This FULL DAY WILLOW HARE SCULPTURE EXPERIENCE will be held in the peaceful setting of our dedicated covered outdoor workshop at the Blended Monkey Studios on the Cambridgeshire/Norfolk border.
Numbers are limited to ensure you get plenty of 1-2-1 tuition.
This hare sculpture experience is suitable for 16+.
About a week before your workshop date, we'll e-mail you again with more details about parking etc.
Refreshments will be provided throughout the day and also a lovely lunch - tailored to meet all dietary requirements.
All students will be provided with a certificate of completion.
