About this Event
We are Stuart and Emma and we are willow weavers based in South Norfolk. We make baskets, crafts and gifts using willow grown in Somerset as well as willow that we harvest ourselves in Norfolk and Suffolk.
We run willow weaving workshops around East Anglia with a focus on fun and wellbeing while exploring some traditional basketry skills.
In this workshop you'll have the opportunity to create a large willow star - up to 1m wide.
All tools and materials will be provided as well as teas, coffees, mincepies and Mr F's legendary jokes.
Thompson Community Hall is between Watton and Thetford in Norfolk. It is a modern building with good parking, facilities and accessibilty.
If you are unable to book your place, let us know - I may well have messed up the event settings. The cat has broken our laptop and we're trying to do this on my phone We are much better at bending sticks than at admin jobs!
