This is a regular free meetup for local families who homeschool in Hall, Gwinnett, Jackson, Forsyth, or Barrow Counties. Current and prospective members of the Spruce Learning Co. Community are welcome. We’re excited to see old friends and meet new ones! Feel free to invite anyone who might be interested. Word of mouth is truly how our group grows! Our group has a lot of energy, loves games, and being outside.
Meet us for a casual picnic, creek fun, and valuable time in nature together. Come as you are! ALL Learners and families will be welcomed warmly.
We will meet at the creek, down the hill from the first parking lot. We may venture to the shoals, depending on the mood of the group.
A free meetup for families hosted by Spruce Learning Co., a secular learning pod & homeschool community run by educator Amanda Pollack. We are based in Flowery Branch, GA. This is our last meetup for 2025, come join us in 2026!
Families with kids of all ages are welcome (at this time our group consists of ages 5-11).
