We will be offering an informal Wilfred Owen talk and walk at Dunsden church at 11am on Friday 30 January. We begin with refreshments followed by an account of the poet's time at Dunsden. What brought him to the village and what was the crisis that caused him to leave? Find out about the stunning new stained glass window which amongst many other topics addresses Owen's sexuality. The walk will conclude with an optional detour to the cosy taproom at the Loddon Brewery brewery.
David Woodward is a former lecturer in design at Reading university. He has given talks on art and history to several organisations including the Arts Society.
