Join us at the first Wildsong event of 2026! Alex & Jessica warmly invite you to a Firelight Song Circle on Saturday 10th January 2026 at Thrive Permaculture Gardens, Nadur Gozo. We look forward to hosting an evening of singing around the fire and sharing a homemade meal together. We flow into a SOULful evening of community singing, commencing with opening words, and vocal warm-up. We invite you to bring your songs and stories to share. Dive into the magic of popular songs, well-known classics, medicine music, kirtan chants, spontaneous jamming, and original songs. Please pre-book your place by Friday 9th January so we can plan the food quantities.We will provide dinner for you, a delicious meal prepared with love by Alex and friends! Dinner will be homemade, vegan and gluten free with organic food grown at Thrive Farm, along with locally sourced wild plants, chai tea & local breads. THRIVE Farm is an educational facility, hosting events and workshops for the community teaching permaculture, and providing space for many different holistic events.
Sitting around a campfire in a community setting provides a powerful sense of connection and belonging. The warmth and primal comfort of the fire create a safe, cozy space that encourages openness and vulnerability. Singing and sharing ancient songs together evoke nostalgia, strengthen social connections, and allow for emotional expression, fostering unity and togetherness. The rhythmic act of singing as a group synchronizes hearts and minds, breaking down social barriers and creating a collective experience.
Embrace the spirit of participation and bring your instruments, drums and voices. This is a haven for budding singers and songwriters to perform in front of a warm and welcoming crowd. Singing together releases endorphins, reducing stress and promoting an overall sense of well-being. WildSong emerged from the understanding of the benefits of a community space, held in a circle around a fire, where songs, stories and prayers are shared. There is great power and love that comes from harmonising together through song. These songs become the anthems of our days, our prayers through the hard times, and the joy and lightness that moves our spirit to dance. This is a co-creative experience where each one of you is an integral part of the event. As we sing together, our hearts start beating in unison.
