About this Event
As one of Europe's largest indoor gardens, the David Welch Winter Gardens are full of exotic plants and flowers from all around the world - we might even spot some animals in there! We will be taking a walk around the different rooms of the Gardens, exploring the Temperate House, Fern House, Victorian Corridor, Japanese Garden, Tropical House, Arid House and outdoor courtyards to learn about the plants we see. We also hope to play some nature-based games in the park if the weather allows!
Please only purchase tickets for the children attending - adults are welcome to stay. Children under 8 must be accompanied by a parent / guardian for the duration of the session. Please ensure all attendees are wearing suitable clothing for the December weather!
Wildlife Watch is a volunteer-led service for children aged 8 to 12 years old, aiming to engage young people in the nature of their local area. All sessions are free to attend, and donations are appreciated!
