Join renowned professional wildlife photographer and former Canon Australia expert Jay Collier for a Canon-focused wildlife photography masterclass at Croydon Camera House.

While all camera users are welcome, this masterclass is tailored specifically to the Canon EOS and EOS R systems, where Jay will share in depth details on how to set up and get the most out of your Canon EOS and EOS R system camera and lenses for wildlife photography as well as his top hints and tips for bettering your wildlife photography drawing from over 25 years of professional wildlife photography across Africa, Antarctica and Australia.

Mark from Canon Australia will also be on hand with a range of cameras and lenses that will be available to touch and try at both the talk and the exclusive Healesville Sanctuary event the following day.

This experience is offered as two separate events. Both sessions can be booked separately.

About Jay Collier

Jay Collier is a renowned photographic educator and tour leader from Melbourne Australia.

Jay has a long standing career in the Australian photographic industry having worked with some of the industries biggest brands including 14 years at Canon Australia as the Victorian Consumer Experience Manager for Canon Collective and being responsible for producing and hosting thousands of workshops across Australia and internationally.

Jay also previously held positions managing Canon Professional Services (CPS) at Canon Australia as well as Nikon professional Services (NPS) along with working in sales for both Olympus and Kodak which has led to Jay’s extremely diverse knowledge of all forms of photography and his ability to teach at all levels from beginners to advanced professionals.

After leaving Canon Australia in August 2020, Jay has since launched The Photography Workshop Co www.thephotographyworkshopco.com as well as Lake Eyre From The Air www.lakeeyrefromtheair.com as the first company to offer open door aircraft photography tours.

Jay is best known for his work as a professional wildlife photographer having guiding countless African photographic safaris over the past 20+ years hosted guests at many of Africas most renowned lodges in South Africa, Botswana, Kenya, Tanzania, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Uganda and Madagascar as well as Antarctica and Australia’s Kakadu and surrounding areas.

Jay is an official ambassador and currently working with Maxxum and is supported by Haida, Shimoda, Tenba, Jupio, Benro, ProGrade and a number of other products that Maxxum distribute in Australia.
