Meet our seasoned Wildlife photographer at 10.00hrs on Sunday 14th April 2024 in the car park at RSPB St Aidans. We’ll spend about an hour in the Café looking at the basics of photography before heading out around the reserve for the rest of the day. We’ll return back to the Cafe around 15.00hrs.

During the day we will cover the following subjects: -

  • Ethics of wildlife photography
  • Fieldcraft
  • Equipment
  • Camera Settings
  • Rules of composition
  • Bokeh effect
  • Use of light
  • Species identification & research
  • Image critique

You will need to provide your own camera, lens, and binoculars. As we will be mobile for most of the day, we will be shooting hand held and therefore tripods are not necessary.
